Beatrix Lastofka, founder of BE-A Singer Studio, established herself in the Hungarian music industry as a top-tier vocalist for over 10 years.
She started singing on a professional level at age fifteen after she was discovered in a dance studio (YES she could dance as well) by a band member of an established group "EXPRESS Band”. While she was touring with EXPRESS Band she was taking singing, dancing and performance lessons from - none other than - Toldy Mária in her Vocal Studio, Postás. Beatrix has gained considerable experience as a background vocalist for Hungarian celebrity artists and later as a lead singer for Napoleon Boulevard.
She also became part of the theatre scene for a couple of years mostly in musicals, among them Les Miserables, Hello Dolly and Oliver! . In 1990 she starred as one of the wives’ of the famous Lord/Duke Koppány in the Hungarian rock opera István a király (“Stephen, the King”).
In the same year she got starstruck when the band she was working with, EAST, was chosen to be the opening band for TINA TURNER European Tour in Budapest; (almost) sharing the stage with the icon has been the ULTIMATE experience.
During these 10+ years Beatrix saw the many different ways in which the voice of a person shapes the person itself. That is why she offers tailor-made vocal coaching in her studio.
